Was an excellent base for trip. This was a nice stay during our vacation. The breakfast was scrumptious with hot meal and fresh juice, for instance and frequently replenished.

Quirky and wonderful venue, absolutely perfect location close enough to a really beautiful garden and the forest and fantastic array of wildlife. Incredibly helpful and responsive staff of the hotel. Air-conditioned and exquisite room, incredible bed and pillows. Pleasant overall experience.

The rooms are a nice size and well-equipped with large bathrooms. Offers excellent service and good food. - the location is peaceful and comfy, not very far from Arenal Adventure World.

Large beds in our standard quadruple room. Great and stunning location just next door to the forest with a hammock, lovely gardens including birds and La Fortuna or 3 dollar Taxi in a new area. Plus, 10 minutes drive from a fine wood work gallery.

The breakfast here had a lot of great options to choose from, and the food was really good. I also liked that this place is tucked away in a quiet spot, which was nice. Oh, and there's a fancy restaurant close by if you're in the mood for something special! 🍴

We were blown away by the beautiful location of Rancho Cerro Azul. The lush rainforest surroundings were a true paradise. The property was impeccably clean and the grounds were wonderfully landscaped. We loved the convenience of being close to downtown La Fortuna, just a quick drive away. The family that owns the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay stress-free. The breakfast was delicious and well worth the price. We also appreciated the reliable Wi-Fi and the working AC. The patio with a hammock was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the afternoon rain showers. We felt safe with the on-site security and loved being able to see horses and the river from the property. we highly recommend Rancho Cerro Azul for a memorable stay.

We experienced occasional noise from birds and bugs flying into the patio door at night, but it's to be expected in the rainforest. Additionally, there was some construction noise due to an expansion project, but it didn't negatively impact our overall experience.
